Blue Air's Aircraft Fleet

April 1, 2021 - Blue Air celebrated today the reception of the first Boeing 737-8 MAX aircraft in its fleet. Blue Air marks a double premiere, its new aircraft being the first Boeing 737-8 MAX aircraft to operate commercial flights in Romania and the first to join the fleet of a Romanian air carrier.

Currently, Blue Air operates 18 Boeing 737 aircraft series 737-300, 737-500 and 737-800 with a capacity between 120 and 189 seats.

Blue Air’s fleet was retrofitted with a more comfortable, better designed seat - Recaro. Passengers can now experience one of the lightest class of seats, designed for relaxation, with reclining backrests.

All investments in our fleet are aimed at reducing fuel consumption, with the result of lowering emissions.
