What is the role about? The Systems & Network Operations Expert engineer is accountable for the provision of network operations services combining analytical skills and design with adequate knowledge of software, hardware and virtualization technology, knowledge and abilities in using software tools in order to deliver effective and efficient IT Infrastructure services within and towards Airline Invest Group and its companies, including the creation of architectural roadmaps, designing of solutions, testing, implementation and modification of the IT systems and network devices.
Skills
• Relevant professional experience: more than 5 years; • Masters LINUX, embraces Windows and can make the best of both depending on objectives; • Has solid experience in PowerShell scripting specific to operations automation. • Is at ease with virtualization tools (VMWare & HyperV); Has experience in using Microsoft Office 365 and Azure AD platforms. • Has experience in planning, running and testing backups with solutions as Veeam Backup. • In-depth knowledge of TCP/IP, network routing & switching, very good knowledge of any of IPS/IDS, WAF, content filtering solutions, good knowledge of content switching, load balancing and traffic shaping, very good knowledge of IT infrastructure services like DNS, DHCP, RADIUS, or good knowledge of network data center design technologies; • Experience working with FortiGate or Cisco network equipment and DataCenter technologies (ex. Cisco ACI), Checkpoint or Forti Firewalls, Cisco WLAN&LAN technologies (ex. Cisco Prime), HA Proxy load balancers. • Hands-on Experience in network monitoring using any tools based on Netflow, SNMP, ICMP protocols (OpenView NNM, SolarWinds); • Hands-on Experience on Cisco UCM or similar IP Phone solutions. • Proven proficiency to manage multiple projects and priorities demanding both rigorous attentions to detail and high level comprehensive solutions; • Ability to establish, implement, and enforce appropriate IT standards to meet business requirements. • Has experience in configuring antivirus endpoint solutions based on given requirements. •English – advanced;
Responsibilities
• Ensures on site and hybrid network operations, building, operating and maintaining network operations services. • Implements and customizes technical solutions and processes and ensures technical service delivery through continuous knowledge exchange and best practice implementations. • Ensures governance, controls and operational best practices to ensure highly usable and stable workplace services for all end users. • Responsible for day-to-day administration duties including Windows Active Directory object maintenance, conducts complex troubleshooting and repair tasks on Active Directory, Windows Server 2008-2019, Domain Controllers, DNS, user authentication and other operational systems as needed. • Ensures highest availability of windows webservers based on IIS technology. • Continually provides input assessing the impact of emerging technologies against strategic IT developments enabling the business capabilities. • Closely collaborates with relevant stakeholders (Developers, Support Services) to define IT systems and infrastructure development and customization requirements. • Identifies potential risks in area of expertise and proposes respective solutions for risk mitigation. • Further ensures the consistency and maintainability of new and existing IT Infrastructure environments by supporting the Department Manager in creating, maintaining, and enforcing technical standards, guidance and reference architecture. • Continuously works on technical and innovative improvement of application services and systems as well as maintains technical documentation according to the company’s standards. • Defines sound proposals to improve procedures and guidelines and provides input for policies. Provides clear, useable advice to superiors & peers. Advanced expertise role in special tasks or projects; works in multifunctional projects. • Ensures the security layer at network infrastructure level (servers, equipments and workstations).
