About Corfu
The name Corfu (Kèrkyra) names not only the island, but also its capital, which is a beautiful, sophisticated and charming town. It is also one of the most elegant island capitals in the whole of Greece, as it was modernised for the 1994 EU summit.
The architecture in town is influenced by the French, the Italians and the British, but it still has a contemporary Greek feel to it, which makes it an amazing place to visit.
